HOW TO GET REIMBURSED FOR YOUR MASSAGE TREATMENT
4 Simple Steps
We suggest contacting your insurance first to make sure they have out-of-network coverage for massage therapy and confirm what forms they require. You can also ask if you need a referral or prescription from your healthcare provider. Generally, you need three things to request reimbursement for your out-of-network medical services:
1) Reimbursement form
2) Invoice or superbill with necessary codes
3) Referral with a diagnosis Code
After your massage, let us know that you are billing out-of-network, and we will provide you with: Proof of payment (Itemized Invoice) or a superbill with our tax ID 56-2599846 A diagnosis code is usually required for billing. Massage therapists do not diagnose medical conditions and are unable to provide diagnosis codes. You can obtain these from your healthcare provider.
